On July 20, 2018 Gov. Kasich commuted the death sentence of Ray Tibbetts to life without the possibility of parole. You can see more information about Ray’s case, including the commutation documents, here. If you have a moment, please call and thank Gov. Kasich at 614-466-3555 for restoring faith in our justice system.
Governor Kasich also granted a reprieve until May 2019 to Cleveland Jackson who was to be executed Sept. 13, 2018. This means Ohio will not execute any other individuals under Kasich’s administration and for the remainder of 2018.
