It’s unclear how the state of Ohio will proceed with executions as of August 2019. The state is finding it difficult to obtain drugs for executions, and we’re seeing state leaders taking a more thoughtful approach to the death penalty and its many problems. Because of this, we have an opportunity to make change. People of faith have always been a cornerstone of Ohioans to Stop Executions, and now more than ever, we need the voice of Ohio’s faith leaders. Bishops, rabbis, pastors, deacons, women religious, educators, lay leaders, and others are coming together to stand on the side of life, mercy and redemption and grace.
