US Supreme Court won’t stop Ohio execution of sick inmate

The U.S. Supreme Court issued an order Tuesday afternoon rejecting a request to postpone the execution. Campbell’s attorney’s tried to make the case that he is too sick to be put to death.

Ohio transfers sick inmate to death house ahead of execution

Campbell arrived at the death house at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility at 9:59 a.m. Tuesday in Lucasville, about 85 miles south of Columbus. He is set to die by injection Wednesday.
