David Donofrio has been a lifelong advocate for serving the community, and with interests in public policy. He graduated from Wittenberg University with a degree in Political Science, and immediately after began the Ohio Legislative Services Commission Fellowship, where he worked in the Ohio House of Representatives. Since that time he’s worked in a myriad of public and private sector roles, and also was elected to the South-Western City School District’s Board of Education.
Campaign work has been a deep interest of David’s, not just working on his own efforts, but managing those of other individuals and issues, perhaps most notably Ohio Freedom To Marry. He also has a passion for nonprofit service to the community, including the Columbus Gay Men’s Chorus, Pride in GC, and many others in the past. He’s thrilled to be able to dovetail his many interests into this role as Campaign Organizer to end Ohio’s death penalty. Outside of work and community service, he’s a singer/songwriter, loves travel, trying new foods and drinks, and spending time with his friends and family.
