Ohioans to Stop Executions / February 4, 2019

Renee Berlon

A graduate of the University of Dayton with a B.A. in International Studies/Human Rights, Renee has experience working for local, state-wide, and international nonprofit advocacy groups. Currently Renee works at St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati as the Stewardship & Events Manager. Most recently she served as the Development Director for UpSpring, an organization that empowers children who are experiencing homelessness in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. In addition, Renee’s professional career has included fundraising work for Cooperative for Education, community organizing with Ohioans to Stop Executions, leading delegations for CRISPAZ (Christians for Peace in El Salvador), and advocating for tenants and homeowners at the United Community Housing Coalition in Detroit. Renee also serves the community by volunteering at Findlay Market and as a girls fast-pitch softball coach through the Cincinnati Reds Urban Youth Academy.
